Hey Tim! Happy to see you're still here, and what a lovely reintroduction this piece was. Fabulous sound palette, naturally, and a beautiful arrangement full of dreamy themes and drama. I love that dark turn about mid way through.
Great to hear you again!

Almost 40 months from project creation until the final master. Unfortunately, I forgot about this one for 38 months. I've recently unearthed two more (slightly younger) pieces that I'm now considering for renovation.folderol wrote: Fri Jun 07, 2024 3:46 pm I remember this one
Oh, and just 2 or 3 years to complete. Careful now, it doesn't pay to rush these things![]()
Thanks very much for taking the time to listen and comment, Will

It was an interesting exercise, although I only did this because it seemed likely that my primary DAW (which was 32-bit only) appeared to have reached the end of its development. Since I started using MuLab, EXT64 has arrived, and I now have multiple 64-bit options available.Jesse Gorter wrote: Fri Jun 14, 2024 12:00 pm really cool you tryout other daw's, sometimes this gets you out of the groove.
I like the atmosphere, the crystal clearness of everything, like a glassy gloomy winter night
Glad you liked the track, Jesse, and thanks very much for listening and commenting

Tuned percussion is a modded TassMan4 patch. That bass patch is the MuLab Polysynth through Raum.eassae wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2024 4:18 pm Dig the tuned percussion transitioning into the first guitar section. Really like the minimal part that starts around 5:08. The first bass stab in there felt very satisfying:)
Thanks very much for listening and commenting, eassae. Glad you liked it

I think the dark parts help me to make sense of the lighter moments (or have I got this the wrong way round)
Glad this one hit the spot for you. Thanks very much for listening and commenting
