Try loading your synth and Polyverse into the FREE Waves StudioVerse, it will allow you to apply all kinds of multiband and FX layering, add macros, and create super-presets including VST3 and FX together, that you can save.
Super cool stuff :D

The new 'filters' in Filterverse sound just as good as the rest of them do 👍Still hard to beat Robo Comb. Phaser after the bitcrush filter is going to be a winner. I just wish the manual had been updated as some of the abbreviated settings seem quite arcane to my brief perusal. Quite high CPU use but of course sacrifices must be made.

I wanted to try it but can't see how to install it, the Waves central app is a mess

Same, so I contacted support, and they explained sth like this:
- open Waves Central, don't look at the StudioVerse tab
- go to the Install Products tab on the left, then at the top click all products
- Scroll down to StudioVerse and install

It is actually very simple, and requires no update, no payment no hassle.
Then it is really fun to use, opens big creative possibilities

Cool, thanks for the tip. And you’re right, the creative possibilities are out of this world! :ud:

Unfortunately that's not true - something like Newsonicarts Freestyle would work though

You're right, I didnt realize it doesn't safe the whole preset with fx.. However you can save synth preset and fx preset as separate KK presets... Still not very comforable

Processing a looped groove with Filterverse using a custom preset featuring the latest and greatest Decimator, tweaking various parameters on the fly.

Testing the new modules in the Filterverse update version 0.9 with a simple bass line (Zebra) and drum groove, tweaking things on the fly.

I also found that using PluginGuru Unify made things an easier for me than setting up multiple linked/routed tracks in Ableton. Unify has this tool called combobox that is worth checking out. It made playing Filterverse as a synth really easy. If you own both Filterverse and Unify, there is a downloadable patch here you have to try in the comments

I'm talking about using these as an alternative filters for synths.
As some of the demos show and suggest, i could load up an instance of, say, Diva.
Use a clean sawtooth wave as source - but use filterverse as an alternative filter to the options within Diva (or any other synth plugin to use as a waveform source with the inherent filter wide open).
So you create a preset - but the filter and all of its settings won't be saved as part of the sound i'm creating.
Perhaps when a part of a project/track it will be saved, but not as a preset within the synth itself.
That's all understood and known. I was just wondering how is this working for you.
It won't be saved as part of the synths preset. It's also not per voice (monophonic only). Plus I have synths with all the filters I could ever need already and they are polyphonic and more convenient.

i am a Supermodal owner and i must say that it is amazing for ambient sound design, i use it on pads and drones often in combination with Tritik Moodal (my other favorite resonator), sometimes i get sounds that i never heard before even in the most wild experimental tracks, resonators are awesome

I've used Filterverse and/or Supermodal on pretty much every type of instrument at some point. They never disappoint.

Interested to see the synth when it comes out.
