Sure they can use it as it is for whatever they want to try to do with it. But they shouldn’t make demands for things it doesn’t have to do things it’s not meant to do.THE INTRANCER wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2024 8:08 pmNo, Studio One is for anyone in whatever way they wish to use it, therefor there is no wrong DAW.jamcat wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2024 7:34 pm No, it just sounds like you guys are using the wrong DAW. You should be using Bitwig. Studio One is meant for tracking live musicians.
Studio One is in the Pro Tools/Nuendo/Sequoia category, not the Ableton/Bitwig/Fruity Loops category.
PreSonus is and always has been a live sound company. Same for Fender. Think about who their user bases are, and then realise that Studio One is geared towards the same user base, and will continue to be so.
I’m just trying to help out the people who keep wanting to fit a square peg in a round hole. Maybe Studio One wasn’t just wasn’t made for them. But Bitwig was.
Instead of going in to Pete Lugar’s steak house and demanding they serve you a Happy Meal, just go to McDonald’s instead.
