ProTools Intro isnt a plugin, never heard of Venn Audio, and the BlueCat Gain plugins have features not present in any paid software Im aware of. So that's 3 out of the several thousand plugins out there, so not yet that compelling an argument, especially when there are 'name' producers etc who have specifically namechecked free plugins.
