Excellent! I was also going to suggest something be done to allow PayPal payments, as this is exactly the type of oscilloscope I've been wanting for ages. Well done. Will be in touch.

Looks really cool! Does the video output support alpha channel?

I don't think so, but you can set the background to black so it's very easy to combine via Additive mode - at least that's what I do in Tooll3 when I send it there via Spout or import the .mp4 from Osci-Render.

Hi James,

About sosci, when enabling record (red icon button) it ask to download FFmpeg which doesn’t run natively on Mac using M1 (2, 3, 4) chip.
And it’ll never append according to what the dev wrote about it.
So, would it be possible at some point making it available for another option on the Mac side?

Thanks! I have very limited experience from video production, but of course, why wouldn't it work the same way as with photo editing :)

Hey! What do you mean why it will never append? It should absolutely work on Apple silicon, and I actually develop sosci with a Mac with Apple silicon and I've never run into problems :)

If you have any errors or can provide any screenshots please let me know - but nobody has reported any issues before with this.

Can this do gonio meter style and is there a video for it f so... Vector is the best but unstable

Can you elaborate what you mean by that? Any screenshots of what you're after?
A search for gonio meter showed me old brass instruments... ;-)

Ah, I see.
Well, basically Sosci shows the left channel input on the X axis and the right channel input on the Y axis.
So Mono signals show up as a diagonal line from left-bottom to top-right.
As I understand it, the only difference in a gonio style view would be that a mono line is vertical? Or is there more to it?

Maybe James knows more - I'm only a user ;-)

I assume klicking the install ffmpeg button will install ffmpeg, otherwise you can use Homebrew to download and compile (automatically) ffmpeg for Apple Silicon.

Saving a video through the sosci plugin (VST3 and AU) didn't work in Studio One, at least, but works in the standalone app.

Not a mac user here, but I can save videos from the VST3 from Bitwig on windows, so it may be Studio One related?

This is just static binaries from evermeet. I'm taking binaries from here: https://github.com/eugeneware/ffmpeg-st ... s/tag/b6.0 which does include native Apple silicon binaries for ffmpeg :) so it should all be native.
