I actually don't have this one. I have ReMix, but not ReMix Drums. I need to check it out. Acon Digital makes some amazing tools. I just watched the YouTube release vid. ReMix Drums is intended for separating drum instruments within a drum loop, i.e., kick, snare, toms, hats, etc. I think the drums as a whole would have to be pulled out of a mix first, but not sure . . .dionenoid wrote: Wed May 21, 2025 10:17 am Did you try this one yet ? : https://acondigital.com/products/remix-drums

I don't think this is true of RipX. Their software has had stem separation since way before AI was doing it.tgryner5tn5686b3456b wrote: Tue May 20, 2025 10:50 pm UVR5 is the best option. It's not even a contest. RipX DAW, and all other DAWs, are just using the same models under the hood, while not exposing all of the options those models offer. UVR5 allows you to select any model you want, with whatever settings you want, so you aren't just limited to the usual Demucs v4 FT "quick results in exchange for low quality" options that these paid DAWs offer.

There are a lot of cases where it is helpfulTrancit wrote: Tue Feb 11, 2025 12:00 pm
Sorry but I stay with my opinion... there is (mostly) no reason to use something like this apart from stealing and the inability/laziness to do your own stuff.
Singer/Songwriters send the demo song with guitar accompaniment recorded with phone without any click. I can instantly seperate it beat map the vocal and start working on it.
Another case
Artist usually ask for stems for vocal session to have their own balance.
I just export and send a 2 track and the engineer at the studio splits the stems. I no more spend time with creating temp stems for a session.
I also like to add ethnic performances or loops to my productions that I bought ''legit'' from Loopcloud, Splice or other sources. Sometimes I want to remove some element from it like vocal to use the rest, so now I can do it.
I can do remixes my old productions to play live that I have no access to the original projects anymore by extracting the vocal.
Stem Seperation is an amazing feature for me. So no, not everybody is a thief.
