waves reel ADT alternatives?

i actually made a simple ADT preset in valhalla delay, and have used it. but reel adt gives me just enough variables to give a better sound (still, i can use either one, depending on the need).

Can you post the preset? I'm curious what sound you came up with.

With all Valhalla plugins you don't need a file to share a preset. Simply click "Copy to clipboard" right on top of the preset-menu and then paste it here...

apologies, but that's the worst one i've tried so far. adds an edge to the eq, and phasey-sounding. maybe it's ok without something to compare to tho.

All the plugins I would recommend are iLok, but it looks like iZotope actually has a free one, so that might work.

nothing, really. i just had a bunch of waves plugins, yet found myself only using reel adt. just wanted to get out of that eco-system, but... deleted everything else, and all is well

It sounds good to me. I also tweaked a couple of variations with different algorithms.

fwiw, for me, reel ADT sounds great, and has great options. the patch in valhalla delay is cleaner, simpler... and will be a good alternative, when i want that
