Could I ask something to those of you who have more experience with Native Instruments?
I am only a Kontakt Player user, I have neither a Komplete keyboard nor Kontakt Full. If I buy the Komplete 15 pack...will I be able to use the Kontakt libraries it comes with in future versions of Kontakt without paying an upgrade? I ask this because in the Komplete 15 packs on their website, there is always an Update price and I don't know what it really means. I really don´t want to pay more for the same products in the future.
Any help with this issue will be appreciated.
Thank you!!

+ info: I am interested in Komplete 15 Select Band because it contains some Kontakt libraries I like.

For those outside the US: just google "us phone number" and "us zip code". Put whatever.

Yes, no need to udate the library. Kontakt is 'retro compatible', but it will ask you to do a file conversion to the newer Kontakt version when you open it for the first time.

How long is it typically taking for people to get the email? I thought it would be almost immediate, but still waiting...

OK got the email response and it pointed me to a page where I can choose from three diff Select packages...but it doesn't give a full list of what is in each (I think), it just says "includes" and a handful of things included, which is odd.

Edit: found the full list here: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/p ... 15-select/

Those who get this, will be able to update to komplete standard in the current summer of sound promotion?
I noticed Kontakt 8 was about $99 for me, and I only have one product (from Sample Logic) that they say qualifies for a discount. The page I'm on doesn't mention MX, Battery 3 or 4. It also says I'd get a $99 voucher for a Native Instruments Kontakt instrument.

I've never had any version of Kontakt before, so now I'm wondering if I should pick it up.

There is a lot of stuff that still requires the pay version of Kontakt (not just NI stuff), but if you're wondering if you need it, then you probably don't IMO...unless maybe you're just starting out in the music-making/getting plugins thing.

Upgrade to Komplete Standard is $249 after registering this bundle, which is the cheapest intro price I can recall.

I got it for $199. Said it was for owning FM8.

I'm still on komplete12.
Sometimes i think on updating, but mainly decide not to.
I was quite "not happy" how they develop their stuff.
But i'm happy how others make new releases: u-he, gforce, korg - got many stuff from them. And I rather use Unify then kontakt8. So my plan is, to do the world record of version updating: i will update from komplete12 to 22 when available (i suppose they will not so lucky to reach this version number)

Crap, too late to the party :(

Yeah that is a pisser; IIRC they didn't say when the deal ended? Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Oops! Never mind.
