If you folks are open to FR's, over the long-term (I know you're just trying to get it up and running), I'd like to see stuff like:
1. More voice offset settings (I like how Korg did it with Multi-Poly, where you had individual trimmers for OSCs, VCF, Envs, then a global depth knob). I know it's got "Slop" params already for Filter, Glide, and Env, but it could benefit from tuning drift too and having a master depth. Doesn't need to go as far as Obsession with the offset trimmers though.
2. Some kind of built-in saturation. OB-XTreme, for example, is a ton of fun once you start playing with the inter stage and output stage saturation.
3. Basic Chorus, Delay, Reverb (from SurgeFX) would be a really nice addition.
4. EDIT: Oh, and if the voice structure would allow for fun CLAP per-voice modulations, that would be slick for people who use hosts that allow for such things.
But thanks for your work on keeping the original open-source project going!

There already is unison detune though... it's in Global section.
There is actually a Push button that works in 2-pole mode which adds a bit more growl to the filter (makes it properly ping able too).
As for effects, I am actually against adding them. IMO the purity of focusing on just the synth here works to the benefit of the whole IMO, and doesn't require us to completely rethink the GUI.
As far as I'm concerned, anyone is free to bring their own FX for this one

Conceptually, I'm with you on the purity thing and not having FX. In practice, I'm always a little annoyed when a polysynth doesn't have built-in FX and I've got to manage multiple GUIs and stop what I'm doing to load third-party of FX. It's less of an issue on mono synths where dry/punchy bass, lead, and percussion sounds may be of primary focus, but on a Poly synth, I always want FX. Sort of a RePro versus Model-80 thing where RePro wins every time for me due to convenience.
I appreciate the time and effort even if I never convince you guys of that.

CLAP polymod would be terrific to have, for sure! It would be chunk of work to do it tho. But consider this request acknowledged!
Naturally, MPE support would also make sense. We need to assess what needs to be done to make all that happen.

If you're open to suggestions, would you consider adding release velocity as a mod source?
The only OB's I know of that had it were the Matrix series, but it really added something special to them.

Great stuff, really. I'm so thankful that there are people like you working on something like this and making it free, driving and supporting the community. I would love to be able to contribute to this project, but unfortunately have no programming skills at all.
Again: Thanks guys, kudos to you

Programming skills not required. Making factory patches, writing documentation, producing videos and audio examples, those are all valid contributions, too.

I know you really like your release velocity, but I am not sure it would make sense here. It made sense in Matrix series because they had a mod matrix there, this one doesn't.felis wrote: Sun Jun 15, 2025 1:25 pm If you're open to suggestions, would you consider adding release velocity as a mod source?

Venus Theory could probably also make YouTube videos and patches for it. He’s already done that for Surge, after all.EvilDragon wrote: Sun Jun 15, 2025 2:12 pm Programming skills not required. He could, yes, but he's also a very busy man. But I will definitely ask him

That is a shitton of work. Even for u-he it was over a year. We're not going there.
Something more manageable will be there, but it is not going to be as fully fledged as u-he's preset browser.
