try disabling hyperthreading in BIOS. should enhance single-thread-performance

Don't have any problems like that.
FL Studio is maybe generally heavier as is, but I didn't test this.
16 core AMD, Win 10. Lots of RAM. Very heavy projects, everyday.

Definitely no "spikes". Most definitely not 90%.
