We Linux users of Tracktion products (I am a Waveform PRO user) usually know that the Tracktion Download Manager offers the available Linux products for the specific user. Upon "install" it then downloads it to the Linux system defined default download folder (usually folder $HOME/Downloads), and the user has to manually install it from there (despite the TDM claiming sometimes that it would have been installed successfully already). Manual installation is then usually achieved by moving the VST3 folder, for instance, containing the product, to the Linux system's standard VST3 plugins folder (usually folder $HOME/.vst3/vendor/product/). Sound packages and presets are then usually becoming installed by the plugin itself, usually allowing the user to point to the path where the add-on package was downloaded to, and then the plugin sorts it to its folders.Lind0n wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 11:54 amIt's on the list of things to do, but to be honest I'm not even sure our distributor (Tracktion) supports Linux in their Download Manager...perhaps someone better informed could let me know.
I'll be happy to help beta-testing!
