Wow. A superb cinema work and pro production! The orchestra has superb authenticity, clarity and expression! I think the best virtual orchestra I've heard (unless it's real?). Thanks for comments on my Night Train Home

Thank you for having a listen and commenting - glad you liked it!

VST Orchestra is 90% Spitfire Audio's 'Albion One'...couple of other libraries feature as extra texture + there's bits of live recording as well - clarinets and mixed into the tense string riser section - a real viola and violin!

Your posts are always worth the listen.

offtopic: Midsomers Murders has my favorite TV theme music: a theremin lead and 3/4 time. I get a real kick from episodes where there is a band of some sort in the show doing the theme music :D
Thank you! Much appreciated!

Original version of this one was written quite a few years ago - licensed it a few times, but only to live theatre shows...it would be great to get it on TV...you never know! :borg: :borg: :borg:

Midsomers Murders - that's a good one without a doubt and just a little bit 'different' as well! witnessed (never got involved) a blazin' row about that piece a few years ago on a music forum...so much anger and hate both ways by the end...

And what was the world-shattering issue, I hear you ask? They simply disagreed about whether it was in 3/4 time or 6/8 !!! :help: :help: :help:

Simple truth is that it was originally written in 3/4 traditional Waltz feel, but scores are available for the piece in both, so who cares!

it is indeed very father brown/miss marple etc, would work great setting up a series long mystery.

but it is also a great standalone piece, the discordant section especially stood out to me.

wish i had the vocabulary to say more, but know it would be positive!! good to see you 8)

That would be great! Agree with other commenters, it sounds cool by itself.
