No way an indie dev wants to fight that.
Yea, but you can still make them go through the motions and cost them time and money if u want. Heh.

Just to be clear:

The reason what I said can work is that, they can not bring a case to court so long as you comply before that happens. Any judge will throw out their case if they try to make it at that point.

If you have something legit to share with Carlo, I suggest a PM.

I doubt he heeds any legal advise posted here.

No nothing like that, just meant to state the obvious. Point taken however. :tu:

That's really cool that you are working on porting patches! :)

I appreciate that you support Linux with your products! That's why I have so many on my purchase list. :)

Do you have any other synth emulations in the works right now? Something like a Jupiter 8 or an Oberheim possibly? :)
Thank you! Yeah we thought JULY was the safest month after JUNE :D
Yes we have other emulations in the works but nothing super fancy I'm afraid.

So, while having the hardware is an indicator of probability, I don't see any evidence that it is being made yet. I wouldn't mind a quality Minimoog emulation for native linux though. :)
Yeah, we have a vintage Minimoog, but I'm not interested in making a full emulation of it. The JEN SX1000 was much more rewarding for me (it holds a lot of sentimental value). As I've said before, I don't plan my plugins around maximum market return, I focus on what I’m genuinely obsessed with and what feels either unusual enough or not yet done in a way I'd personally want to use :)

The last Minimoog I was interested in was Moog Music's own, but they limited it to Steve Jobs gadgets, despite ppl shouting from the rooftops for years for other platforms.

The Minimoog is probably the most emulated classic synth. It's fantastic, but it's been done to death.

I think we get better stuff from indie developers who follow their muse -- and don't have to hassle with legal nonsense.

I haven't had a chance to download the update yet so please ignore me if these have been implemented now, but please add the correctly stepped HPF (with the bass boost at lowest position) and the option to limit to the original keyboard range. Then this will be the perfect J**o emulation.

The 6 had a continuous HPF, while the 60 used a stepped one, but I felt that going with the continuous option was the best choice. The bass boost at the lowest position is only present on the 106 though.

Uli Behringer loves to read these IP protection memos from companies once he needs to go #2. Then he uses them in "Demolition Man: Nah, I don't get how those 3 seashells work" kind of way.

That’s exactly what I’d say happened to me last year with the little synthesizer. Somehow, I ended up having fun recreating and adapting many of “my” familiar sounds for JULY, and over the Christmas season last year, I recorded a short EP using only the JULY synthesizer and some drum sounds. So the EP features the demo songs for the soundset, but also a few tracks that musically evoke a trip to Norway from last year.

Oh, where were you before, Mein Süßer Bjoern!

Ja, Ja! That's what I'm talking about! Yes Mein Herr! My kind of Junah! That's it! :hyper:

I said a proper sound designer would make this thing sing right! Exzellent!

This bank ought to be in July by default! It tickles all the classic Junah pickles.

Since it's a free bank, you probably wouldn't mind terribly if Carlo indeed does add your bank to the synth, with due name credits, ofc.

Vielen Dank, Mein Lieber Mann! Fantastisch! Inspirierend! Und Großzügig! :tu:

With these sounds, I want to play an 80's style party tonight! Junah and Prophet burning down the house! Lets go go go! :hyper:

Thanks very much.
Because of this preset pack I just purchased July.
Although have your presets already for Model 84 I prefer July to Model 84 because of the internal Arp and the fxs
