Woops, sorry. I just found your email in spam. I probably need to sign and notarize my plugin with Apple. I do that today and send you a link via email. If it works then I share it in an update on itch.io.

Did anyone had a problem on Windows? I think code signing just for a vst3 is not necessary but not 100% sure

If the code and notarized macos vst3 works for Bangzero, I'll push the update to a new version.
Since I’m already updating things, I’d love to get some feedback from people who tried Arponaut:

- What was your first impression when you opened it?
- Did anything feel confusing or slow to get started?
- Did it actually inspire anything musically, or not really?
- Was there anything you expected it to do that it didn’t?
- How long did it take before you got something you liked out of it?

Even short impressions help a lot, tnx! :)

thank you for looking at this Ambroos & Eric.

the notarized version still fails to load for me in Reaper on macos 14.8, M2 macbook. but as it happens, i just replaced an old intel macbook with an M5 air running macos 26.4. on that system both the notarized 1.0.2 and manually un-quarantined 1.0.1 versions of Arponaut load successfully. so maybe something to do with Reaper and macos 14? or maybe something's corrupt on my older M2 macbook? in any case, thanks for the notarized version Ambroos. that will make it easier to update for the current macos.

I’ve been testing on an M1 Mac Mini running macOS 15, and I just checked again in Reaper. Both versions load fine on my side.

You probably already did this, but just to be sure: did you rescan the VST3 plugins in Reaper after replacing it with the signed version? I’m wondering if the previous version might have been flagged as untrusted.

Also, it would really help to know if other macOS 14 users are seeing the same issue. If more people can reproduce it, I’ll definitely do a deeper dive to figure out what’s going on there specifically.

Made the update so everyone gets the signed/notarized version. Windows version unchanged.

did the complete rescan but same results with signed version. i may be able to do a clean install of 14 on the old M2 and will retest if so.

Alright, thank you. Let me know if you have any updates on it.
I made a quick demo showing how fast you can iterate with patterns/chords in a non-destructive way.

I feel like my tutorials are too long/technical for new users, trying something shorter here.

Major update on my arpeggiator Arponaut :)

Made it more beginner friendly with an in-plugin tutorial and a preset library.
