I know it's a gag but that does happen. I can think of a CAD package and a few other things where the software was sold by another company on a long-term licensing deal that saw the original owner take it back after a decade or so.

Oh damn. I had a panic attack once.

Now imagine any one person going through that multiple times a day for years. People who have never experienced a panic attack (not you) really can't image. They think it has something to do with or is something like feeling scared.

It is a fundamental mega primal thing your whole organism is doing that literally signals: "Get out of this NOW or DIE!! (literally)"

Try ignoring that.. lol... again, no one who has ever experienced one doesn't know. They can't possibly.

Glad to hear you have it under control. That shit was awful.

Ironically; for the people who have them over and over and for years, control is the one thing giving power to the phenomenon and only makes it worse. It took me 5 whole years before finally learning that relinquishing control and 'letting it happen' and not try to fight it or prevent it was in fact what made it lose its grip. Only one time it came back after that was years later during a massive burn-out and that is common in such adrenal depleted states. As intense as it was, I could let it happen and not fear it's return afterwards.

Sorry, my intent is not to make it about me. But I hold a special place for everyone who has gone through more than a few of these.

Boris FX is also the new home for Samplitude, Vegas Pro, Soundforge et al. Are these tools being used anywhere besides pro post production houses?

I think that sets the tone of who iZotope will still cater to going forward. In two years time their whole product line probably consolidated into RX and Ozone.

Also.. a while back we converted our iZotope account to NI to be able to log in wit Native ID. What happens to that now? I have no more iZotope credentials or account. Just the NI one with which I log on to iZotope.

Still getting those from time to time, usually when high stress and less sleep. Never fun..

But for Izotope I love their limiter in IRC4/5 mode so will be interesting to see what the future holds for them. If something bad, I think I could replace it with Uni-L though.
