According to a study I read about, girls prefer R 'n' B and such, while boys prefer guitar oriented stuff.

Mine says the same, I notice when I play hardcore hip hop she looks so bored, but when I play RnB her face lights up. Seems that way with Most girls I know.

they tend to like decent music - just like most blokes i know as it happens.

No its true. Girls only like acoustic music. Any music made with anything with electricity in it makes them want to stop doing the dishes and the ironing and stuff.
