Needless to say, what comes out the other end can be VERY messed up!

If I had to get by with just one, it'd be Reaktor (because it is, inherently, many more than one!).
Also, I don't think anyone has mentioned the Ioplong plugins. Lately, I prefer Ioplong's Sloper to DestroyFX's BufferOverride for glitch effects:
