I'd rather see Rhino polished to perfection than another new toy... unless it's physical modelling VSTi with a great GUI (what was the name of that Logic thing?)...

My daytime occupation is mainly excel , powerpoint and phone calls (I'm doing program management in a software integration company). Vsti development is done at night and weekends.

Personally, I would love to see an enhanced version of Ticky Clav that included emulation of the "C" and "D" pickup settings on the Clavinet D6. I can't get the thin, jangly sound I'm looking for (e.g. George Benson's "Affirmation") with just the "A" and "B" pickup settings. I used to own a real D6 and I recall getting this sound with the "A" and "D" settings.
Hopefully this would be a relatively modest programming effort compared to a completely new synth. I think such an enhanced TC version shouldn't be freeware, but should be priced similiar to EP-Station. I'd buy it instantly.

the standalone with ASIO support is in the private files area. Although it's tagged as beta, it should work fine

Fortunately I keep email pretty well-organized. I did find it, but somehow I never knew about that area of the site. Thanks Tick...Big Tick wrote:The one you can access using your 'site code'. You've received one, right?

So that is how you can afford to keep working on Rhino rather than putting out a dozen lesser products.Big Tick wrote:My daytime occupation is mainly excel , powerpoint and phone calls (I'm doing program management in a software integration company). Vsti development is done at night and weekends.

All I need to be happy is one more VSTi.
