Do any of you think that the UAD-1 shouldn't be able to run at 192Khz?
If they provided a cheaper version that had a max sampling rate of 88.2KHz or even less than that, I'd be far more inclined to buy one. 192 KHz is just not a selling point.

and I would REALLY like to see the person who works on 192khz projects with the current CPU generation, even if he has all the possible UADs and powercores.

I'd just want to know how.

Double the DSP power and it still won't be quite enough for anything serious...

Hehehehe...likewise.

I think if I worked at 192KHz, I could open up any synth in my folder, press a chord and go thhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrupppppppp as the blue screen appears and all my house light fuse.

I want a vsti VL really bad for a lot of things, including things besides brass i love the elad guitars on my vl70m.

but as far as brass you wont see much enthusiasm as people are used to really lousy sounding samples, probably cause theyve never heard a good horn section for real.

the best sample sets around make real brass players laugh, not so much that the timbre is bad but the behavior is a joke.

im always amazed that guys here will debate how close this or that comes to a moog and then turn around and use some brass sample dvd.

go figure.
