Well, I thought mine www.wireempire.com was pretty good , but seeing that www.daxo.de :o :-o , celldweller and julietsghots, I'm having 2nd thoughts. Have you guys done it yourself or hired someone?

Funny cause about a month ago I went through the top 30 posters on KVR and I think there was only 1 pretty decent site and that belonged to a company. I was pretty underwhelmed.
Obviously all the great sites belongs to people with less than 2000 posts, as they spend their time web designing instead of posting in Off Topic :P

Yeah. He goes by the nick 'Symbiant' here. he's also done some fantastic patches for Cameleon 5000 as well as Zebra.

Was the music any good tho? Most of the ones who have really simple sites have the best tunes IMO. All these flashy sites with fancy graphics are usually hiding very dull music, or actually have nothng at all on them :?

Some nice sites :D :D

I'm just wondering what you guys are looking for in a great site.

Seems like the flash enhanced sites gets a lot of votes. For me (because I'm old and lazy) I don't like to wait for more than a minute for a flash sequence to load.

Easy navigation, easy to find music and some interesting information is more important to me than flashy welcome screens - but that's just me.

What do you think makes a site interesting?

Just listening to Celldweller now. Very nice imo. Think you might like it. Sort of industrial. Techno with guitars and vocals. (The track "switchback" particularly).

But apart from that, I was purely talking graphically. Daxo was a bit too much once you've been here once, but top score for first impression and very original ideas.

jtxx000: thanks a lot  Nope, I haven't done a CD. Mostly because I'm very schizophrenic at the moment, doing RnB, Breakbeat, Goa trance, Nu-metal and have started to look into Orchestral.
Where's my medicine now

Seperitoth: my vote for best site would probably be www.julietsghost.com . It loads super fast (including music). Very good design, and very easy to navigate and straight to the point.

I don't care much for the music though :P

Actually I agree with you.
Heh... I'm going by how much time I spend on which site, and KVR kinda monopolizes what little attention span I've got. =^_^=

Has anyone else seen the chartreuse logo? Or was it the beer what done it?

My new flash site is quite nice. Nothing groundbreaking, but quite er, flash.
www.skirenko.net
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to f#ckin’ live.

BTW,

I'm improving my site (oh well, at least updating it), suggestions please.

thanks
