Sekvenzer 66 or maybe Adiktive?
Definitely sounds possible. An NI additive synth would be nice, they have the technology and resources... but I think no. The sequencer OTOH... who knows.

just what I thought - it would be in line with their usual business practice -> Absynth, SyncModularBen [KVR] wrote:Maybe the return of Muzys?
and it would also solve the mystery what has happened to it...

This has crossed my mind more than once before this thread..jens wrote:just what I thought - it would be in line with their usual business practice -> Absynth, SyncModularBen [KVR] wrote:Maybe the return of Muzys?

also they have the resources to pay Jo for a full-time job and also give him support by assistant programmers - and if you think how long he's already been absent and how advanced Muzys already was in certain aspects it could be the killer sequencer by now...Sickle wrote:This has crossed my mind more than once before this thread..jens wrote:just what I thought - it would be in line with their usual business practice -> Absynth, SyncModularBen [KVR] wrote:Maybe the return of Muzys?

the more I think about it the surer I am: they will announce Muzys V4 (with a different name most probably - maybe Mboom V2?
)

now I'm gonna write an e-mail to the NI-support in which I ask them if it is true that they took the Muzys developer under contract as Eric Wistrand just told me in a pm...

Maybe..The only catch is that Muzys isn't 'new' or 'groundbreaking' technology..So if Muzys is involved, how & what would have been modified to make it so exceptional now?jens wrote:Sickle wrote:This has crossed my mind more than once before this thread..jens wrote:just what I thought - it would be in line with their usual business practice -> Absynth, SyncModularBen [KVR] wrote:Maybe the return of Muzys?

Sequencer-wise, I've always wished for an NI host that intergrates the best of NI's works at a lower/lowest level of intergration..Something that would host VST/VSTi, yet have the ability to insert say a Reaktor element or Spektral Delay in the signal chain/mixer and mod it on the fly, or have Absynth's envelopes available as an alternative to CC automation, Kontakt's scripting, Kompakt as a built in sample player, etc..It could be someting like a Modular host that comes with a minimum enviornment(Reaktor and Kontakt's engines say) and you would have the option of low level intergration of the other products as expansion installers, like Kontakt's new convolution as a built-in send effect, etc..Or get the whole damned thing in one swoop like they offer now for the individual products..
I would be SO into seeing that..
Intergration!!
