damn, don't say you can test the synth, even If I think the nag is really annoying (make me some nervous), I had time to create some patches, to understand some of the way this baby works. I think it has some absynth potential. add some wave sequenceing and you ahve a killer...

thank you! interesting synth. i haven't really checked it out as of yet, but i had to install it twice already: after the first install the presets/help file, etc. didn't work due to having selected a non-default dir for the installation. for the second installation, i chose c:\program files instead and now all seems to work (apart from a crash, just now).

I guess dmi really wants donations
You could call this a regular ol commercial synth, given the extremitude of the nagging. You could say this is just a demo, then. Oh well

Ok Lack of volume problem noted.
As for the nag screen being annoying, that bit must be working properly
You can however try out all the patches using your hosts patch selector. Also you can keep playing via midi while the nag-screnn is showing.
Also there is a manual that can be accessed by double clicking on the ? on the GUI. Single click on the ? then clicking an editor should give context help.

nope - the big difference is that you decide how much to pay - donationware isn't freeware anyway...Rellik wrote:I guess dmi really wants donations

nice synth man! Works fine in VSTi format but in the standalone, the gui is blank. Only a vst host pops-up.
All I see is a menu with engine, devices, and help.

Yeah standalone has some problems (crashed to desktop with no other sideeffects) but doesn;t bother me. I am OK with the VSTi. Now the volume issue ...
Did I say thanx dmi?

I think this might be an installer issue. Try uninstallling and then reinstalling using c:/program files/foorius and whatever vst directory.paradiddle wrote:nice synth man! Works fine in VSTi format but in the standalone, the gui is blank. Only a vst host pops-up.

Also, I just tried in eXT (the latest beta release) and it worked fine at my end. Make sure the foorius.dll is in you vst plugin directory.
It appears that the standalone needs some more work

Don't know how many people are interrested in the standalone version but IMHO most of the people round here just want a single dll VSTi (and a pdf maybe). So if the standalone is causing you problems just let it go for now. There are many VST/VSTi hosts to serve as substitute for the standalone version.
Cheers
