you say you put loops together and mangle them to the point where they're unrecognizable but you don't think you'll ever touch Live!!!!!???? :o   your last name must be steinberg. that's like saying you've been in the desert for 3 days without anything to drink and you are thirsty as hell but won't drink water.
or,
u dont know much bout SX. :)
believe me, i'm mainly a Logic user, but the audio part in cubase sx is really nice. now days i make my loop mangling in there, and then import my results into Logic. :)

this is just my opinion, and decided on my way of working. keep that in mind.

by all means i agree to each his own devices, it's just that your statement about not touching live looked like you were exerting energy to not happen upon something that could be imensely useful for your type of production, but I realize that its just your opinion...mine too, long as we're making music...

Again I agree with stale bread.

Your points about SX are fair enough (I've used it in various versions since Atari days, although not SX3... but I get where you're coming from). And it may well be that those who have not used SX3 are underestimating its flexibility (due to frustration with previous versions, for example).

But you seem to be doing excalty the same with Live. Its not clear from your posts whether you know much about Live 4 at all... and yet you seem to be writing it off on the vaguest of terms :? .

Unless you've used Live 4 in depth and have a fairly comprehensive view of what its capable of... and have gone on to reject it for some clear reasons that you can explain... surely its better to provide your positive review of SX without then dismissing Live ikn a way that simply sounds biased or ignorant?
