An atypical use of percussion. Expressionist.

Narrowly missed by a Chromabeast.

The Innocents reclining on oversoft sofas as great forces zing and rattle on by,.. yet the innocents remain unaffected. Oblivious to their very real situation of being narrowly missed.

Found the kit drums in the Chromaphone pretty good. They use note number to modulate various parameteres through the range so you get radically different sounds from just two diffrent generators and the noise generators.. Interesting, who ever would have thought!? This is a sound designers playground.

I couldn't find any info on this, when will the holiday sale end? I'll buy Lounge Lizard in a few days and don't want to miss the chance to get this one for free.

That cheeze sounds so great :)

It's not for free if you buy Lounge Lizard, you can get it for a reduced price of $90 usd instead of $199 usd

Is this for Chromaphone? What i was referring to is the info at the product page:
HOLIDAY SALE: 2 FOR 1
Buy one (1) Professional Series instrument at regular price and get a second one for free!
Or is my english really plain bad? :)

Umudo, I think you are reading it right. If you buy Lounge Lizard for $199 you get another like Chromophone for free. While Lounge Lizard is cool, Chromophone has the possibility of being seriously cool. I bought Chromophone on the introductory deal, and I have been having a blast with it.

I made a mistake, they had made a new offer since I last was at the AAS site. My last understanding was the deal was if you already had a AAS plug then you could get the Chromophone or any other instrument for $89 usd.

I think though the 2 for one sale is a great offer.

I also just got the Modelling collection upgrade.

I'm really impressed with Lounge Lizard. Beautiful interface and great sound quality.

I have had it for a few weeks, but only really started to get to grips with what th different controls do. Do your self a favour read the Manual carefully and study the presets. Thinks are much different than normal synthesis with physical modelling. That's whats makes it so much fun..

Post a track here with your efforts I'd love to hear them..

I just want to keep this thread warm. I'm hard at work with making more explorations with the Percussion aspects of the Chromaphone. This is a very interesting tool I'm learning a lot, just tweeking the existing kits and percussion instruments. To get a fine less booming Drum sound there's all kinds of tweaks you can make that gets where you are going without muddying the orignal sound..

I'll post my new example as soon as I'm more pleased with the musicallity of it, the sounds generally are there, but the composer needs a solid kick in the be hind, to get that last polish that always seems to allude..
