Tried the demo but it's not my cup of tea (unfortunately... I love the other DMG stuff).

It would be extremely helpful if the LFOs could be set to unipolar instead of always working in bipolar mode. Editing the LFO shapes is hard, the GUI seems to react randomly to mouse clicks or I haven't found the right technique yet.

EDIT: To elaborate on the LFO-editing: often when double-clicking to create a new Breakpoint a new point is created but the handles to edit the slope are missing, when trying to drag the newly created point to somewhere else the mouse pointer shifts to e.g. the first breakpoint in the waveform and drags that around. I have not yet found a way to quickly/precisely edit a new LFO shape, any hints/tips?

@simon: can't be sure, but that sounds buggy to me. I find lfo editing very easy to do. I'm on win7,so it could be a mac issue? I'd second the request for a unipolar switch, though.

I've now bought PF so I'm a paying customer - it's awesome IMO>

Have to +1 what sampleconstruct said, find LFO editing quite fiddly.

Edit: on a Mac and Live 8

Ahh, good to know, might well be a Mac issue then...

Actually, for me it seems to be a problem of having 'snap' on - if I turn it off then clicking, dragging and so on is as expected. So I guess the problem is me not doing it right when 'snap' is on.

Using the current version in Live v8.3 on win7 32 bit I can't disable key tracking on the pitch whether the keyboard symbol is activated or not.

The keyboard symbol has nothing to do with Midi pitch tracking it only sets the pitchshifter to semitones only so there will be no pitches created in between. When using PF as a midi-controlled Plug it always receives Midi pitch data afaik.

Snap on or off, it's a mess here...

I have briefly tested the demo, and although it's interesting, I'm thinking: if the asynch modes are still always either "fwd" or "rev", it's not possible to conveniently do (pseudo) scratching with this thing in the vein of Gross Beat, for example?

It seems like Pitchfunk could be a great plugin for that sort of thing, but it doesn't have such a mode - that is, an envelope/lfo letting you go both ways in the buffer. Am I missing something in my initial findings?

I noticed one CAN host automate the mode itself, but wouldn't an actual fwd-rev mode make a lot of sense?

yea editing LFOs... a mode to draw linearly would be good. straightening after the fact is nice, but i'd like the option to draw straight lines on the fly

So how the hell is it supposed to be used when placed after a VSTi!!!!!!
Seems pretty dumb if this is the inteded behaviour.

How the hell should I know!!!!!!

I use Logic and there you have a dedicated folder for midi-controlled Plugs, normal FX plugs don't receive Midi if inserted on an instrument or audio track.

create a new empty midi track and set its midi output boxes to track & pitchfunk
