If I got it right, you can also "play" the single cycle waveform. If you place e.g. "superfake" plugin behind, you have kinda supersaw, if you wish, which is suitable for trance leads.

Hokey dokey, there's a new *alpha* version in your downloads bin. It's really a WIP proof-of-concept version to see if it looks good and functions. 32-bit only right now, but 64-bit will be there at some point. It's still missing some functions and such, but again, it's a WIP. I'm still working on the docs and tutorials, but I'll get some simple ones in as the days progress. I'll probably leave the pre-order status until we get a more polished v1.0 candidate available with more functions and export stuff included.
I'll shoot a message to all pre-order users in a few hours, just need some coffee and got to feed the animals first

Nice.
Unfortunately, I start my holiday in 2 hours. Shame on you! You really blow the alpha out when I'm going out for 2 weeks. Naa... damn.
On the other side, when I return you'll have probably a more stable version ready
Ok, have a good time and happy bug busting!
C ya in 2 weeks ! =)

Anyone take a look at the initial presentation and have any comments?

Actually, I do have a quick remark, although I haven't had a chance to use it in depth just yet.
When you enter in an equation, the written form isn't what someone would intuitively expect. For example, if I want to write in two times X times pi, or whatever, I would expect to be able to write
2Xpi
However, I have to write
2 * X * pi
for it to understand. Just a little funky, so if it can support the more natural way to write it, that would be pretty cool. Also, the "generate" button didn't work when pressed; you have to press "enter" for the equation to be processed.
But overall, pretty cool so far. Can't wait to see it finished.

i had a look at the Alpha version and entering the formula seems to work nicely.
The WAV file first did not seem to work in ElectraX (with the Resynthesis feature) but then i found that it is saved as 32-bit format. I converted it to 16-bit using Wavelab Elements 7 and now it works.
I have also created an textfile where i could save the formulas i create as it looks they could not be saved with the current version.

I purchased it a long time ago, and have since received not a single information about it in my mailbox.GeorgeZ wrote:Erm, looked in my account when the Alpha was announced and didn't see it there so figured I'd wait a bit longer, maybe it's getting processed/added to accounts manually
EDIT: Just checked again, nope, not in my downloads.
Should I log in in the site to see something ?
Note edit : Its not a problem if there is a delay. I can wait. It is however a problem if I should have received any kind of notification and have not.

Whoops.. yes, the developer's bundle owners have to be done manually, which I neglected to do. That will be done today! I've been trying to get the Sound Repository updated with a ton of new content, which has kept me a little distracted :/ I also need to add the addresses of the developer's bundle users to the Wave Designer database as well..GeorgeZ wrote:Erm, looked in my account when the Alpha was announced and didn't see it there so figured I'd wait a bit longer, maybe it's getting processed/added to accounts manually

Good catch Ingo, I should probably have an option for what bit depth it exports as. Should 16, 24 and 32-bit be sufficient, or is there any that require a lower/higher bit depth?Ingonator wrote:The WAV file first did not seem to work in ElectraX (with the Resynthesis feature) but then i found that it is saved as 32-bit format. For some reason the Wave Designer database has not been getting updated automatically through each pre-order, so I'll have to take a few minutes and make sure absolutely everyone is getting the notifications. Sorry Laurent, I'll get that done ASAPLotuzia wrote:Should I log in in the site to see something ?
