Interface flickers and glitches all over the place, stops making sound (or perhaps receiving MIDI input) if I drag the interface from one monitor to another requiring plugin restart, seems to leave 'trails' on interface rather than updating properly.

This is both the 64bit and 32bit versions of the plugins, tested in Reaper and Renoise on 64bit Win8.

Anyone else having similar issues? In its current state it's unusable for me (back to Kick v1 for now).
Win 8.1 ?
Had 1 or 2 with this issue . Trying to reproduce to see what the exact cause of it is here .
Yup, Win8.1

Look I'm going to give you a refund in this specific case as you were under the impression you were entitled to one. We do have a blanket no refunds policy (same for kick 1) We do give refunds in specific cases of course, if it does not work on the users computer for example.

I would recommend that you wait for a demo if you aren't comfortable with that policy - but I'm sure you won't be disappointed with it if it's making kick drums you are interested in !

What I'm much more interested in hearing about is why it doesn't suit your needs so if we can see if it's something that we can address.

For those having the flickering/glitching graphic issue, updating your graphic drivers should help - thanks to Bryan I'm now up and running and really annoying my wife with the thuds travelling through the brickwork in our house :)

Maybe back to discussing Kick2 ?

I think its great, definitely a step up from the original. The ability to layer up to 3 samples and an improved sub section make this a possible genre leader. Never tried the Vengeance one but this is my go to now, nice one S A.

The Vengeance one is great, but I'm going to try this one as my dongle free vst, which I'm trying to go more towards.

So right now you get the Artist Preset Pack Vol 1 with it. Is that the same thing as the Free Artist Bundle?

Just a quick note to say this indeed fixed the issue for me as well. Thanks! :tu:

Had a chance to play with v2 today and noticed a few bugs.

The time readout in the top left of the main window when dragging nodes is definitely not right.

I found that to get the amp envelope to fade from half way through a 210 ms long kick, I have to drag a node to 179 ms rather than 105ms.

Also, when viewing the kick waveform in an oscilloscope, I am noticing the fade at the end of the kick seems to vary in length, fading out progressively early over several iterations.

When "generating" the kick export, you can see that the amp envelope is being applied too early, leaving silence at the end of the kick that shouldn't be there.

Cheers

I once thought I had mono for an entire year. It turned out I was just really bored...

quite possibly fixed - check the new release (later tonight)

Not so sure about this one? sounds like the amp env you have is just zero'ing early?
the generate will follow the entire amp env

Thanks for the update Bryan. I hope the first update kills the performance and graphical bugs for some users. Also very happy to hear that the readouts have been adjusted etc.

Cheers

Looks great! Tempted to buy it, but I'm wondering if I can count on automatable envelope nodes being a near future update or if I'll get burned for wishfull thinking.

It's on the roadmap :)
