Softube Modular

Well, then I guess I've been very lucky. Every synth I've purchased so far has come out on time. But I stand corrected. I guess this is more common than I realized. Figures this would happen with a modular synth as they are my preferred type. And most likely I will still get it when it comes out, even if I am annoyed now.
Carry on. Nothing more to see here.

I think we're just having a little hair splitting about exactly what a 'release date' is? Plenty of products (most? nearly all?) get delayed and hence most devs are wiser than to specify a precise date/time when it will happen, unless they are just sitting on a finished product and have some other reason for delaying its release.
It's not going to turn into vaporware; too many $$s riding on this new forthcoming form of EuroCrack addiction.

You don't announce a release date unless you are absolutely sure, at least for the most part, that the product is mostly bug free. I refuse to believe that this "problem" just popped up last minute to have to cancel release a day before. This will ultimately hurt sales down the road depending on how long it takes for this to come out.

I see no reason to be 'pissed off' about this, this sort of thing happens all the time and at most I'm just a little disappointed but that's balanced against the knowledge that bugs will be fixed and that's to the benefit of customers. No need to make such a bloody drama out of it.

waggy, if you have an iPad, I highly recommend the Moog Model 15 modular. Sounds fantastic, and might satisfy your modular GAS until Softube releases their product.

You know, now that MUX 7 has audio rate modulation, it really doesn't take a back seat to many modulars if any at all.deastman wrote:So... how about that whole modular thing?

Try low end production. It would fit it well.chilly7 wrote:Hopefully this thing works well with up to 384Khz 32bit sample rate because if not this synth will be useless for high end music production.

It's sad to see how one person can turn a thread into a flamewar. If he says something negative about a product it's called criticism, but if someone else says something negative about his products it's a personal attack

I don't feel scammed. Shit happens.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Big difference between my criticizing a 3rd party product that has NOTHING TO DO with the person who is criticizing me and my criticizing that person directly.Reefius wrote:It's sad to see how one person can turn a thread into a flamewar. Person B attacks business Y for the quality of their product.
Hmmm. So is the problem that person A and company Y are the same but person B has no relationship to business X so he shouldnt be allowed to criticise anything?
Confusion.
