I'm not crazy or "mad", I do live on the continent of North America where insults are very similar to all other continents. I am young, and hopefully not, "stupid" thanks for that. I don't create public discourse to try and categorize or defame others with the help of my forum
friends to paint anyone in a picture of what I desire them to be for my personal benefit. I didn't study semantics, sophistry, or politics. When I post/say something friendly, I mean it. When I say something a bit harsh I mean it. When I'm not courteous, you deserved it.
Childish?, I didn't post some elaborate public discourse to defame and categorize you. So lets get down to the dirty, shall we?
Taron, I think you are a pretentious prick, and I want to fight you in the back of the schoolyard at 4 o clock. Be there.

Nobody ever said a single bad word about Taron.
I'm 64, but I'll be there if he needs me.

Agreed, Taron's always been a great guy, though he should be careful how he communicates criticism. I really hope you guys can start fresh, and put this behind you. If not, it's probably best at his point to leave it out of the OSC thread.sfiks wrote:I've been here for 2 years.opoint wrote:Taron, I think you are a pretentious prick, and I want to fight you in the back of the schoolyard at 4 o clock. I tried. Thanks, opoint, I'm pretty clear now. I never said you were "mad", but thanks for completely clarifying that. I also see your age won't help you, but your addiction to pain won't let you see the high numbers. There's no point for me to keep excusing you, because there's no hope.opoint wrote:I'm not crazy or "mad", I do live on the continent of North America where insults are very similar to all other continents. Thanks guys, I'm sorry, but that intervention kinda went south.
Yeah, bj, if you feel like scrapping this, you know you don't have to do this for me.
This month was such another excellent one with a beautiful synth and accordingly many fantastic tracks. My bad for underestimating the severity of our challenges. I apologize to folks here for having wound up a broken toy. Sorry...
...and, opoint: never get old, you'd hate to see the disrespect!
One more thing: I'm exactly the prick I show to be, just to clarify that!

Really nice for people to leave feedback on the tracks! I did my first round listening and ranking them while working, have yet to do another one and leave comments as well.
I picked my 5's and 4's based on musical interest, the 5's were fascinating listen, but I don't know if I should weight sound design more for this contest? There were many high quality sounds in the songs I gave lower votes.

Sometimes there are some undeniably brilliant sound designs, where it's impossible for me not to give a 5, regardless how much or little I understand the music. But over time I got really jaded by some of the masters here and gradually start taking their craft for granted, I'm afraid. Like Jasinski, for example, who by means of mix and sound design should probably never get less than 5, haha, just to name one of the synth-heroes here.
Just consider which tracks you would like to see recognized the most and understand the consequence of your rating. That's all, I think.

Hey, if I bought MuLab could you teach me how to use it? LOL.

Cut it out, wag, you'll get into more trouble!

But seriously, I love MuLab and am more than happy to help! The forum for it is quite nice, too, and Jo- the developer- is fantastic and highly supportive along with many of the folks over there. But it helps to be somewhat technically minded, because of its biggest power, which is the modular heart and soul of it.

Thanks. I kind of figured that. And yeah, Jo is great. Helped me with all my Mux questions.Taron wrote:Cut it out, wag, you'll get into more trouble!![]()

Anyway, don't want to get in any trouble so I'll bow out now.
(But I still want that autograph)

I Basically never used Synth1 (Except for presets) till this. But after Designing my first patch, Synth1 became instant favorite of mine and now, for designing the sounds i want, Synth1 is my #1 Choice.
