Soma, do you think you could do a sort of Robert Fripp inspired midi delay, but with the ability to run it through a scale (keep it all in the same scale, randomise the notes that are delayed) and give it a decay feature.

I could add a random pitch bend on each note on
I could add an CC envelope triggered on each note on.
Delaying note on and off would be suoer rad. I'll see if I can do that....
Working on an album right now so plugins are on pause for a bit.
what kind of music are you into?
I'm curious ...

Hello Soma,
Do you know of a plugin which could output a single continuous midi note? I'm looking for something for drones or to trigger a sequence. The only workaround I have is entering a note in the XT sequencer and stretching the measure.
Any help would be appreciated.

How do you want to trigger the note, Paradiddle? From a GUI of a keyboard, Or from a keyboard?
Should be quick and ugly to make.

From a midi keyboard would be great with the possibility to turn it off. Mono or poly.

Wow thanks! That's pretty much it. Only midi input would have been enought and the mono sustain doesn't seems to work but it doesn't matter I can set whatever synth to mono and use the poly sustain.
Thanks a million! This is exactly what I needed.

You're right mono is roken, but glad you can use it. I don't plan on fixing it since it seems like something that a sustain pedal would be better for, in most people's case.

Hey soma, It's more useful than you think. I don't imagine myself pressing on a sustain pedal or holding a note for 20 minutes. I really gets tiring after a while.
Thanks a lot!

Hey Soma, quick bug report. First off, I was using the proximity pad alpha earlier, and noticed that CPU would jump to 50% (P4 3ghz) when the noise waveforms were used. Secondly, when I try to load a project with the transport EX plugin, I get an "path\soma_transport_ex.dll error reading block 'data' size xxxxxx.
It may be my computer, but I just thought I'd run them by you.

Thanks-
I the bug with the proximity pad "alpha" is because it is sending out so much CC information in noise mode that the XT can't keep up. (Notice that it doesn't jump if you just pipe the CC's out the master out). I will try and smooth them out and/or add sample and hold but if I can't I'll leave it as is with a note in the about (because you should have the option).
As for the transport error. It sounds like you are loading a song that has an old version with the same name... Don't know how that happened. If the song is still able to open, then just replace it with the current version you have (if you are able). If this isn't the problem let me know.
