Thanks for spotting this. It's just a version number mismatch caused by one of the resource files not being updated properly when the plugin was being built, it got stuck on the old version number which doesn't matter for anything else but Logic. I've done a clean build and it's all updated properly. I'll upload the correctly versioned v1.5.1 in a sec and let you know when it's ready for download.

I've uploaded the correctly versioned v1.5.1 mac disk image, so please download it again. I also suggest manually heading to your system's Plug-Ins folder and deleting The Drop.component manually just to make sure before installing the new one. For everyone that doesn't use Logic it won't matter.

Cytomic's copy protection won't mind at all, so it's totally up to how the DAW handles duplicate plugin IDs with differently named plugins.

All good here in Logic 10.2.4.
V1.5.1 is showing in the Plugin Manager, and I didn't bother deleting the AU component before installing.

Checked the drop in the studio. Great plugin even got better!

Thank you very much for the update! I feel like it's Christmas again! I never use my other filter plugins anymore since buying the Drop. With the new filter models and the better than hardware sound quality (IMHO), it has become unbeatable!

I have a Ms-20 filter clone here and while The Drop is amazing and lovely sounding it doesn't even come close to the sound of this Ms-20 filter, the resonance is much more filthy.

Which clone do you have? It is a mk1 or mk2 style filter? Have a go with the MS1 filter, and turn the little trimpot near the res knob up to 200% (edit: and the res knob up to full). The analog will have more noise and have the edge in terms of tone, but The Drop has the best filter models available in any filter plugin available.

Just tried the new demo. Changing parameters in Bitwig via the device (as opposed to the GUI) or with automation has no effect on the sound. Only when moving the control on the GUI does the sound change. Is this a known issue? Or demo limitation? Not being able to automate or control via macros is kind of a deal breaker.

It's Paul Perry's Frostwave Resonator so I'm not really sure which revision he used, I know the Drop is the best Andy and I said so in this very thread but there is something with digital when you go over the top with resonance and also overdrive that is just not quite the same as in analogue imo, but i find it's the same with all Vst's.

Edit; Ok that trimpot Andy, hello screaming analogue filth! That is just awesome work man and I have to eat my own hat right away, this is just on another level yet again, great work.
