Well, the names of the albums would be nice too, but yep, you've got the connection.

Depending on your familiarity with said region, some of these might be on the slightly obscure side, but I tried to pick artists who are well-known outside that part of the world.

I'll save you the bother...Z-list celebrity ex-singer with car wreck of a life, used to appear in adverts for a budget frozen food supermarket named after the country in question, before being dropped because of drug use.

Oddly, earlier advertising slogan for this supermarket used to be (band from top centre)'s gone to (country in question).

Yep, the indie-cred ones, I've also got top-right and bottom-right, not so indie-credible...

So, I guess the clue is country and year of release... fits my ideas but not sure it helps with the others.
