Now it might be the time to actually concentrate on using these things for music instead of constantly re-configuring and rebuilding...(that'll be the day)

Liking the Music Man bass. With the little Orange next to it.krushing wrote:Now it might be the time to actually concentrate on using these things for music instead of constantly re-configuring and rebuilding...(that'll be the day)
Or is it a Flea Bass, looks kinda similar?
Still, nice setup.
Tidy like!

Thanks! The bass is based on a Stingray, yes, but it's actually a custom made, hand-crafted "clone" from a friend of mine (Wetterstrand Instruments). Best damn bass I've ever played

It's a Lead 3. Best synth interface ever - I find myself simply tweaking patches much further than I'd ever bother with software...because it's so immediate. Every function is just there, and there's practically no menu-diving, sound design wise (the only exception being the arp settings). It sounds digital (as in not even trying to be analog even though it's a VA), but in a very pleasant way. Haven't really used much synth plugins since I got this & the Dark Energy.

I love the fetish angle of it. It's not about the music anymore.
Not insulting you M4M. I'm more than guilty of it myself.
Let's face it - NOBODY makes decent music any more. So we are not alone in producing shit. I say that as someone that has listened to your 14 hour show - so I feel like I know what I am talking about. Just kidding. It was 12 hours. But it was still shit. Didn't stop me from loving it though. I would still need the influence of drugs such as marijuana or LSD or MDMA to really round off the experience though. Some say I am shallow. I suspect they may be right.
Looking forward to un-boxing that APC-20. And your next show.

m4m makes me jealous of his hardware, though, for my personal taste it's a little too much. Maybe he should split half of it with me. I'll take a quarter of it and be happy too.
