It's a commonly used term in France and Germany ! Means that's the point, that's the trick etc.MaxSynths wrote:Please explain what you mean with clou!?
First of all it's PIANinO RubALTO !MaxSynths wrote:A question about "Pianino Rubalto": what does it means exactly? Do you mean "rubato" or "rubalto"?
As you should know as a MIRABAnian the little details counts and there's always an essence behind !
PIANinO: A pianino is a little piano, perfect to place it on a wall. (my part)
RubALTO: Transformation of "Rubato" (a musical term) and "ALTO" (the sax my duo partner is playing)
But thanks for asking
What's your point hereMaxSynths wrote:Also: if I knew there was still a year maybe I menaged to compose some more music!!
I closed the project a few month ago, but if you followed the thread, afterwards a track from Poly and Justin was added, so I surely not forbid to do what you wanna do
But if I announce the DVD (weeks ago) with all contents and two contributors are interessted, I use my valuable leisure time more reasonable !

Hey Daniel Pianino doesn't exist at all in Italian
A little piano is "un piccolo piano". Anyway I find it nice because both recalls the instrument and the "piano" or "pianissimo" indication in musical scores. So can be considered a good hybrid word as "rubalto" which is genial
About the above picture: thanks for the comment Jazzy & Daniel; it's all Miraba stuff put together, mixed, wirled, punched, blumped and twisted with paintshop
I think something like this describe better the Miraba mood. Let me know if you are interested in the picture

PIANINO is a term of the musicology plus of the piano industry !MaxSynths wrote:Hey Daniel Pianino doesn't exist at all in ItalianA little piano is "un piccolo piano". Anyway I find it nice because both recalls the instrument and the "piano" or "pianissimo" indication in musical scores.
So perhaps the word doesn't exist in italy (having in mind the language of music is italian), but your local piano dealer will definitively know it
At least one guy discovered the hidden essenceMaxSynths wrote:So can be considered a good hybrid word as "rubalto" which is genial

Never heard of an instrument called PIANINO. If you are talking about the "small" version of a grand piano then is called "mezza coda". The only instrument called like "pianino" is in the tradition of Naples and it's a common wall piano painted in a strange way. Also in musicology, as far as I know, the term pianino doesn't exists at all (in italian this word is used but is not "correct" and the words in the music terminology are from italian. So if such a word is used is simply a mistake, the right definitions are "piano", "molto piano", "pianissimo").drumity wrote:PIANINO is a term of the musicology plus of the piano industry !MaxSynths wrote:Hey Daniel Pianino doesn't exist at all in ItalianA little piano is "un piccolo piano". Anyway this is a PANINO:

P.S. If I ask my local piano store for a Pianino he beat me hard in the ass

It has nothing to do with the dynamic terms "piano" etc., but is an old term for a little piano and I work at a musicschool with an intergrated pianohouse, so the nice woman working at the piano department confirmed this
If you will deny once more my explanations I will beat you as hard as I can in the assMaxSynths wrote:P.S. If I ask my local piano store for a Pianino he beat me hard in the ass

Sorry I studied musicology too... and never heard of the "pianino" also I'm a fan of exotic instruments and I can't permit an instrument called "pianino" hides from my attention
Also I worked for a museum of ancient instruments here and never seen a pianino
(a lots of virginali, clavicembali, fortepiani, and also other weird stuff) but never a pianino
So please provide more infos about this pianino, I want to learn more.

Ok Daniel... I've got it. Finally I understand what you are talking about and I don't know if is the case to laugh or cry
Just googled around and found that the "Pianino" is what in Italy is better known as "Organetto" (little organ). Both terms are inadeguate to describe what really the instrument is... Believe me: if you was thinking about that instrument you better change the title to that beautiful song
The "organetto" is that instrument used at the beginning of the 20th century by street musicians which used to play with monkeys. This is the economic version of the pianino:

And this is the pianino:

I'm killing myself with laughs!

Punch the monkey! Ih ih
What goes around comes around... it's a cIRcle for sure! This is Miraba, after all
You see? Once again we are talking about the same thing, do you remember? Well, punch the monkey, then the pianino which is an organetto which involved monkeys, me and you had some chat about karma, coincidences and so on and now you asked for that song; that song is from the album Alaya which is focused on the tibetan tradition, karma, and such ideas, in particular Jhana in a form of meditation which lead the subject in a particular state of mind similar to extasy or trance. So in just a few posts we come back where we left a zillion years ago!
Truth is a never ending ReInKarnaCircle Daniel, I told you
