But for this, I find the GUI a bit small to be honest. Though if stretching is possible, then it's okay.
The GUI is infinitely configurable! I see it as THE definite go-to EQ for almost everything (yeah, I'll still be needing the MeldaProductions Dynamic EQ).

Especially the Preset system is so incredibly flexible. You can make your own custom mini-EQs for specific purposes and then name them accordingly. It's very powerful stuff.

Has this dethroned GlissEQ for you then?

Post

Nope. GlissEQ is unique due to it's dynamic behavior. I can't even duplicate GlissEQ with the almost ridiculously deep Melda DynamicEQ.

GlissEQ has become a kind of "spice" that I know exactly how it behaves and thus know exactly when and where I need it. It's not very often in use but when it is, there's nothing to replace it really. I find myself using it to boost rather than cut and having it set to a slow dynamic response (I think the dynamic setting is called "relaxed").

Cheers!

How do we get back to the EQ setup wizard ? Has it a band limit ?

Post

This dynamic behavior of GlissEQ is something I wished for DMGaudio EQs as a option. For kick/bass conflicts GlissEQ is my weapon of choice and it would be nice to have another option ;)
I have not found enough time to test this new EQ very deep but it seems to be very flexible. I was a bit surprised about the setup wizard :D This is a nice idea to have some basic settings without diving deeper into details.

Is it possible to add gain or lower the gain on each band above and below -18 db?

I want you to all know that I just measured out 0.35g of soy lecithin onto 0.01g accurate scales.

I had a moment of being in Breaking Bad. Then I had balsamic foam. Both good things.

I'm of a divided mind about time limited, unrestricted demos. They are great but it's a problem when you're not sure when you'll be able to afford something and it turns out if takes so long to get the money together after the demo expires that you can't really remember how you felt about it.
We have the same birthday. Happy B day. :)

P.S. I already bought EQuilibrium for myself. :D

No, followed by spending half an hour getting the photos to upload, and then trawling youtube for remixes of a 15sec clip Daft Punk just released of their new album.

Next up! Macarons...? :D

Your mixer seem to have dynamic behavior... :D

Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.
