JerGoertz - some big changes under the hood, but relatively small on the surface. The work-in-progress GUIs posted earlier in the thread should give you some idea - tone controls on each section, very capable integrated effects section, option to disconnect the SUB from Stack & Detune, optional phase-reset on the oscillator, step sequencer and new arpeggiator, "sub LFO", some new modulation sources, twice as many TransMod modulation slots etc.

A couple more demos, and some tweaks to the UI in response to feedback here and from the beta testers...

Still a few things to address in this UI (some of the buttons/labels don't have enough contrast), but it's getting there I think...
(That empty blue space in the top right corner - when the browser's collapsed it disappears).

Thanks for sharing the new audio demos! They sound great. I'm definitely looking forward to the release.
I do have to admit that I'm not a big fan of the direction that was taken with the UI. Looks too plain to me. It sounds like I'm in the minority on that issue though.

Hard to see from a static screen shot, but it's a lot less plain looking once all the mod animations and suchlike are going on.

Oooh, now I'm curious! I'd like to see that for sure. Are there videos of this?Angus_FX wrote:Hard to see from a static screen shot, but it's a lot less plain looking once all the mod animations and suchlike are going on.

I always found the original Strobe's interface to be extremely easy to navigate yet also extremely powerful. I do think the current interface can be improved but I don't think a complete overhaul is called for, especially if it makes things difficult for Strobe 1 users.
