Great composition. The sound balance between the solo violins and the electric piano is a bit wrong. Good strings orchestration. It would be great if you would use alternative small chamber ensembles like viola, cello and some wooswind solo (oboe or flute) to round off the chamber orchestration.

Jazz isn't about all that crap you mentioned - it's about expression. Anyone who over-analyzes it obviously hasn't got anything to say themselves. All I do is play out-of-tune and probably even in simple stupid chords or whatever you musicians call those things. But as I said earlier, it not about attitude. No one here has heard enough music to even safely go off half-cocked over what's intellectual or not.
