No, the problem is we're discussing product or business X which has nothing to do with my products. If somebody wants to open a thread "Wagsrfm Presets Suck" and have everybody criticize their quality, fine. At least we're on topic. But if I say XYZ's synth has a poor GUI in a thread where we're actually discussing XYZ's synth, there is absolutely no reason for anybody to bring up my products in a thread that has nothing to do with MY products.

Otherwise, anybody in that thread who criticizes XYZ's product who happens to have a business of their own (and tons of people here do) is fair game for an attack as well.

Can you imagine what that would turn every thread into that discusses somebody else's product?

But the thing is, other people criticize company's products. I can show you tons of posts. Yet, they don't get attacked. Only I do. That's the part that pisses me off the most. Anybody else can say anything they want about XYZ's product and nothing gets said back to them. But as soon as I open my mouth, I get hammered.

It's quite a double standard and I'm tired of it.

I think I can clarify. If he attacks a business, he is attacking the business, not the people that run it. When someone attacks his business, they are attacking him personally since he is the person who runs it.

I deal with logic for a living and it makes no effing sense but there you go. Hope that helped.

but may be those other people you'r talking about express themselves differently and get accordingly treated differently?
Doesn't even say to change your style, so to speak, but be prepared for some intense responses...?

The thread was about Softube Modular. Wagtunes diverted that into a subcontext it about 'bad business' on the back of atriviality. At that point, in any subcontext of 'bad business', then Wagtune's rating on that scale becomes fair game, because he made it a yardstick to measure by, ie the measurement of how much of a 'bad business' delaying a product launch was by some other standard of 'bad business' (eg poor products, or duplicitous advertising for a product).

Audio input will be very interesting , but I don t know if we will have other FX than delay , chorus....I wish integration for the FET, dyna , tsar, ... And I d really like to see Audio Damage to make their hardware sequencer and FX for modular...
