You need to put it into the cart to see the upgrade price, iirc.Examigan wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 2:40 pmIs there an upgrade price also?Nug Wrangler wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:27 am It's on sale now

They rotate which products get the most discount. Minimonsta and OB-E are both discounted more than usual, Minimonsta significantly so. If Oddity and ImpOSCar are any indication, it means a new version will be released in the not-imminent-but-not-too-distant future (I think Oddity 2 and ImpOSCar 2 were being sold for $29.99 for over a year each before the new versions came out).MrJubbly wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 2:16 pm It would probably be more relevant to state when GForce plugins are not on sale, rather than when they are on sale, due to the frequency of their product discount sales in recent times.
Not a complaint. They're a great company with quality products. Just a casual observation from someone who already owns all their plugins. Many of which were purchased while discounted. I mean, at this point you could probably just throw a dart at a calendarand have 50/50 chance of a GForce plugin being on sale on that date.
I do wonder whether or not they are undervaluing their product line with such pricing strategies. But that is entirely their business (quite literally), and not mine.

The insult there is the upgrade price. Once you count for currency conversion and the fee to do it, the sale price of a full license is only a few pennies more.
That with all the talk of CPU consumption has me taking a pass on this "no deal" in upgrading.

It’s £39.99 to upgrade after I logged in. In US $$ it’s about $13 less than the full price.

Yeah, I'll pass too. Especially the CPU hogs.
I also think M-Tron expansions are too expensive. No idea who can justify these prices. Even at half off I'm not interested. That stuff is only for the rich or something.

If you think £25 is expensive you might want to look at a different hobby.mi-os wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 8:25 pm Yeah, I'll pass too. Especially the CPU hogs.

Also do people realise they can demo for themselves rather than take other people's word for it regarding CPU hogs: everyone's system is different, try it on yours.

M-Tron expansions are €75+ incl. VAT and exchange fees. Third party sellers offering them for $70. There are some less expensive ones but most are £50 excluding VAT or sales taxes.

You said "even at half off", which is £25. I have never bought an expansion at full price. Tax is tax, but can sometimes be avoided by buying from US third party resellers.mi-os wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 10:11 pm M-Tron expansions are €75+ incl. VAT and exchange fees. Delete your account, stops you from seeing any posts. No chance of getting upset by people who dont think exactly like you then.
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

Conversion shows just under $51 and PayPal fees add almost $3 to that. For the upgrade mind you. Whereas some online dealers have a new full license at just a few cents over $54.Examigan wrote: Wed Dec 18, 2024 6:31 pm It’s £39.99 to upgrade after I logged in.
