deadbeat - new world observer.
Just got this today, first listen.
Dark ambient-ish glitchy-ish dub:
www.pitchforkmedia.com wrote:One might consider New World Observer as the blues for a homeless soul in a world distorted by mass media. If anything, Montieth seems to be one of those angels following the death march; taking the hand of fallen souls to another place that has one question a previous life on earth more than celebrate its escape from it.

 :D

I'm listening to the new Phil Manzanera album, "50 Minutes Later". One of my heroes since the Roxy days (which are due for a return, seeing as there is a new Roxy Music album slated for the new year  ).

Like his previous record, "6PM", this one has a lot of his past conspirators on it, including Robert Wyatt, Eno, Andy McKay and Paul Thompson. Good stuff. "6PM" was my favorite album of last year, so my anticipation was high for this one. I am glad to say that I am not disappointed!

Jeff Beck " 'cause we ended as lovers"
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
