I am getting serious cpu clipping when using even 1 instance of Avenger. Nothing else loaded just Avenger. Every Daw I use it is the same thing. It seems worse with arpeggiated sounds. No other synth will do this it is only Avenger. 2013 IMAC, 32g ram with the latest OSX. Please any advice would be appreciated.

i have the same config but with 8g ram and no problem , do you use vst 2.4 or vst 3 ?

I have same problem with my Hackintosh. Latest El Capitan version. Tested with Logic X and Studio One v3. No problems with Windows 10.

beware s1V3 is not really stable under osx !

Been designing with it the whole night. It's soooo awesome!!!
At first it seemed to me really overwhelming, then I started dragging modulations here and there, and the magic happened... Chapeau!!

I really wish its "adhsr" had much longer attack and release times, enough to make ambient textures increase and degrade really slowly.

Just use the additional envelopes. They work really well.

seems like the noise burst problem was introduced with 1.29 as side effect of a Mac CPU optimization. We are currently investigating this.
And yes: we all use PC here
