Maybe, just maybe, this forum is doing more harm than XT2 itself.
Negative attitude feeding negative attitude, like mass hysteria.

Is there a list of the other updates - does it support dualcores yet?

S>HUSH is right. This version has been in beta for months and now that it's fully tested and mature it's more than ready for an official release. The .5 update is justified as there are many new features as compared with version 2.07 or whatever it was.
What are you all complaining about?

Maybe, just maybe the users of this forum have very little to do with the broader target market of XT2 users or potential users anymore.

Mature? Its mature to drop audio when you add the first BUILTIN effect? Wow.masstronaut wrote:S>HUSH is right. Good... good. I will start coding mature programs immediately then.
Can i count on you as a costumer?

well to be fair, i am a xt 1.x customer so i guess im not furious about how xt2 has had a weird run of things, but i am still dissapointed. where is the option to record stacked midi in loop recording? where is the update to the vst version? is there multi core support? does using an m audio device in os x still crash it?
if xt 1.x was ever finished, i'd have no reason to complain. it really is a shame as a feel ive poured a lot of my time into energyXT and i dont want to give it up because of how amazing it is (in theory)
ho well, if it ever fleshes out i guess i could fit it in as a vst, but for now i use it for the only thing it seems to be good at, testing new vst dlls

Sorry, i don't watch the muppets. I outgrew that shit years ago.NAS wrote: You are like those muppets on X factor that actually believe they can sing (You know the ones dont you)
It's all in HOW you say it. I've gotten away with my big mouth out there in the real world simply because I say it "with a smile". But I would never text what I wouldn't have the balls to say in real life (well, maybe there have been a few exceptions). That's why I never make fun of family members. I would never talk crap about someone's family member(s) in the offline world.People like you always make me laugh because your online persona is your control right hahahahahaha
I bet you wouldn't dare say boo to anyone in the real wide world would you hahahahahahahahaha
Other than that....it's all game YOU WHINY GEEK! *smile*

I too think behringer is kinda cool for the money. My friend [amateur DJ] has got a mixer from them, my little brother an electric guitar and a guitar amp. Both of em are quite satisfied.ret wrote:I disagree about Behringer. Atleast their mixers are very good.

Yes, if you load two instances, you can assign them on any of two cores :paMUSEd wrote:does it support dualcores yet?

We'll see if those updates start coming. At least the entertainment here is free, you don't even need a license!
Surely at least some of the bugs amount to little more than typos in the source. Seems strange that they haven't been addressed in all this time.
As for communication, it's clear that all most people here have been (resigned to) asking for is the odd indication of what's happening with the program. The last thing that was offered was today's date and see how pleased most users were just to hear that much.
Oh and Rott - I was attempting a little satire.
