Just one tiny thing I've noticed in the new patch FYI: I now have 2 program folders for OWD kit 9, one called OWD 9 and one called OWD 09. Neither of them appear to be consistent with the other kits' new hi-hat behavior.

I can confirm there is a bug in that patch. Loading it cuts out all output sound in Pro Tools LE. Happens every time (checked four times). I'm on Mac Pro, Kontakt 3.5, OSX 10.5.8. So it is not just with Windows and Kontakt 4.maximilians1 wrote:I did find one bug with the 'cabinet of sand' patch , as soon as a key if played it overloads kontakt and no futher sound can be made, I'm using kontakt player 4, windows7 and running it within reaper.(I'm guessing kontakt 4 amp sim is different than 3.5)

Exactly, maybe. that's what I'd like to knowstandalone wrote:Maybe the samples are watermarked?.Surphaze wrote:Alright. Thx.Squids wrote:Best to download it twice - once from your account and once from his so there is a record of it.
Uh, another 20 GB![]()
Out of curiosity: What difference will the record make? If he's asked for a legal license, he has an account an a serial on his name.
But well as Squid said I should better download again, I will do so. Would like to know why but well.
I'm over half of the first time downloading this stuff...
Best,

For the global patch update, it says to install ONLY after installing all of the kits.
Does that mean that we need to download and install our multitrack option kits first? I assume so but wanted to check (will probably delay choice of MT kit pending more time with the stereo kits).
Thanks!

Just the STm kits, it has nothing to do with the bonus MT kits.mrhudson wrote:For the global patch update, it says to install ONLY after installing all of the kits.

Btw, the cabinet kit doesn't have a bug. I just overdid it with IRs. Too CPU intensive for most computers. Woops. I was experimenting. Anyway that is the 51st Hybrid Kit (extra) so delete or if you have a computer that can handle it go for it - or just take out some of the inserts if you know how.

would anyone mind telling me how big the signature snare file is supposed to be? mine is 98.8 MB, which seems a little small-- but then it is just a single snare right? i had a lot of download problems earlier today, so i am redownloading stuff that crashed midway through. just want to make sure this is right. thanks!
also, is anyone seeing red checkmarks to the left of some of the download buttons? what do those mean?
happy drumming!

Is it normal for these Ultimate Studio Drums kits to take 15-17 additional seconds to become active in Kontakt 4 after the load progress bar has disappeared? My other SR kits become active the moment the progress bar disappears. Thanks.

anyone know how to change mixer routing options for these kits in Kontakt. I am seeing the snares in the Gadd to Meet You hybrid kit coming out through the kick channel. The output is set to snare and changing it (or any other piece for that matter) doesnt seem to actually change which mixer channel the snare is routed to. not the biggest of deals, but more curious as to how to actually change routing to mixer channels.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.

Yes. Squids mentioned earlier that this is because of all the heavy-duty scripting going on under the hood.Breeze wrote:Is it normal for these Ultimate Studio Drums kits to take 15-17 additional seconds to become active in Kontakt 4 after the load progress bar has disappeared? Hopefully it is something that Native Instruments can address in their next release of Kontakt and Kontakt Player. Since I am using Kontakt 3.5, I would be curious to know whether any users of Kontakt 4 are noticing the same delay.

If anyone knows what the best map wrap setting for ezplayer pro with these kits: drum masters , imap or imap extended ? It seems to change the odd symbol hit but not sure whats the best setting, btw the ezplayer pro midi sounds great!

Since all of your new kits are iMap extended, I think that would probably be the best format to use and get used to! It's a great layout, and I'm appreciating it even more now that I am starting to use the higher toms in these new kits. And the hi-hat bell sound can really liven up your hat tracks. Love it.maximilians1 wrote: If anyone knows what the best map wrap setting for ezplayer pro with these kits: drum masters , imap or imap extended ?
You can compare them here:

But the new colour image is the one to download:

Is this issue seen only in K4, or does it affect K3.5 too? As I understand it, NI will not be updating K3.5 any more. For that sort of delay, the USD scripting and grouping must be pushing Kontakt to its boundaries.zedd wrote:Yes. Yep. It would be nice if they loaded more quickly, but it isn't so bad. Once we've built a few favorite kits we won't have to keep opening kit after kit to audition them. And kit pieces load pretty fast.firepile wrote:It affects K3.5 too.DarkStar wrote:Is this issue seen only in K4, or does it affect K3.5 too?
