Glokraw,
Thanks for the heads up on that but my problem is my DAW isn't NET connected (by design). I was able to uninstall 3.5 and reinstall 3.02 no problems and I am back in action after 3 or 4 wasted hours. I was just frustrated because I actually like Amplitube and after the SONAR X1 debacle, my patience was running thin.
I just hope that IKMM figure some quick fixes for all these issues and next time I will probably take a wait and see how other folks fair before taking the plunge.
Jim

I alluz thought "there" wuz "yonder". It's definitely yonder in Magilla Gorilla.Hink wrote:I guess that's a joke that doesn't translate well over the internetjens wrote:You do not really undastand something unless you can explain it to you grandmotha...I fixed your quote to show what I meant, because it might not transcend language barriers either...where my family hails from (including my late gramndmotha) 'there' is 'theyuh', 'here' is 'heyah' 'fair' is 'fayuh', 'horse' is 'hoss' etc
but then again popeye wasn't a pirate either
Einstein must either have had a really effing smart grandmother with an abiding interest in the cutting edge of cosmology and physics OR one who listened to the track on her "hearing aid" and said "Ah! Now I get it. You're a genius Alby!" when she noticed he stopped talking after three hours.

LGK_Dude wrote:AT2 user here. I got in on the esoundz group buy where they gave us some cool presets for Ampitube X-gear. Will those load into Amplitube 3.5? If so, how do I transfer them, because as of now they are not showing up. Also, how do I go about integrating old projects into Amplitube 3.5? Do I have to manually save all my X-gear presets used in songs and transfer them manually to A3.5?
Thank you for making it 64-bit! Oh how I have waited for this day!
To use your purchased gear, launch your custom shop, click the Account button, then choose 'Restore my Gear'. I could then choose those items in the Legacy menu option in A3.5. Did it once using the standalone, and once using the plugin,
Cheers

It should be possible to make downloadable models you can unlock with a code purchasedjkleban wrote:Glokraw,

later via the non-daw. I'll be surprised if they don't have it in the works already.
I've had a virus-free XP using Spybot S&D and Avast free, for 4 years+, only go online
to register apps, not casual browsing. Now that system imaging is no longer rocket science,
'protection' is pretty effective. The only malware I get is from pace and ilock and macrovision, all courtesy of legitimate companies choosing such, for their anti-piracy efforts.
Cheers

btw for all the people wondering about auths. For me, the new deal simply used the auth on this computer I already had thus making 4 available still. Seems it did not charge me a new auth so I'm not understanding those that got charged another.
And, considering "free" is another 5 auths I'm assuming I'm covered for quite some time.

thanks for this!Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:The BRIGHT/NORMAL and CRUNCH/CLEAN switches only affect the NORMAL channel. The bright doesn't seem to do anything and neither does the clean/crunch. The overdrive/normal is still a mystery to me as well.

sometimes schedules just dont work out how you expect. anyway, no big loss. i'll stick with what i've got for now.glokraw wrote:once folks schedule their demo times, and see the price as a few Starbucks, and a cheeseburger...
as for the pricing, well you can rationalise it how you like, i look at it as almost a days wages for most people where i live. I could buy breakfast for a week for the equivalent of 20 credits.

I secumbed to the forces that were soldano, tiny terror and the orange 12 cab.
I've decided I don't know shit about how to make a guitar sound work in the mix so they are just there for the fun of starting them up and wanking around on the guiter.

George, is your AmpliTube CS FREE registered to the same user account as your AT Metal? Check your user account to make sure both are registered and authorized, and if they are and still aren't showing up, contact Tech Support.

I won't file a support ticket. You guys need to sort it out yourself and I'm not in a hurry. It's obvious that the function is currently quite flakey, so an update is in order which fixes it. Please admit it.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:Check your user account to make sure both are registered and authorized, and if they are and still aren't showing up, contact Tech Support.
(If you want me to help you fixing it, I'll do what I can - but please let's not call what you do 'support' then.)

Judging by some of the issues arising from the 3.5 update, I think it makes sense that IK would only introduce the non-connected DAW option, once all bugs and problems have been ironed out. No need in messing up serious offline DAWS with a buggy release.glokraw wrote:It should be possible to make downloadable models you can unlock with a code purchased

Well I went to my account to look at the soldano on custom shop and was able to get it for free as well as all of the other custom amps cabs etc. they all show up as authorized on my computer, such a deal thank IK. Then the spaceship captain said he would release the utopians from their cage, I was not happy with this knowing their canabalistic history.... and then I woke up.
Yes I bought the Soldano, wow, I am happy with this custom shop, I have all of the other previous editions, and they all show up, I like the ability to pick and choose and try out first. Great job Brian, IK.
