Well, then you should be able to log into your account and see a discount. Just remember to uncheck all the ones you don't own because at first you'll see it for like 85 bucks and get all stoked just to realize that's only if you already own everything else ;)

Give it a check.

I like these multiband plugins that can operate at zero latency. Perfect for people that record and mix all at the same time!

Are there any plans to enable more oversampling options or did the developers decide that 8x is really the sweet spot and want it to be kept that way?

I am thinking: this or Camel Phat?

This, i own camelphat and use saturn demo extensively for a month and it gives me better result in term of saturation.

How can you even compare the two? Camelphat is a multi-effect, Saturn is a saturator/distortion unit. Each one can do things the other can't.

This is an AWESOME plugin!! I have many uses planned for it!! :)

Isn't camel phat all about distortion? I thought so.

Edit: it's product page states "4 distortion effects in one unit"

It's got four distortion types, a multimode filter, a bandpass filter, a flange unit, a simple compressor and EQ, plus it's automatable via LFOs and an envelope follower. It's also got a neat XY pad for live use. Yeah, it's about distortion... and a lot more. You won't get the varied effects it can do with Saturn. Demo it and see.

Although I would concede the distortion part of CP needs an update; it's showing its age. Saturn is better in that department, but, to be fair, it is a specialized plugin.

I have and use both.I think Saturn is better purely for saturation & distortion, but Camelphat still does things that Saturn doesn't.I like both, they give me options.

Can anybody comment on the tape algorithms?

Can Saturn be applied to the master for some tape vibe, like Roundtone or Reelbus?
Has anybody ever really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Kinda. Maybe it's just (but it isn't because I've heard others talk about this :hihi: ) but just adding an instance changes the sound......I think for the best.

However, reelbus is far more instant grat on things like a guitar buss.

Btw, would it surprise you guys I don't ever feel I need the oversampling in saturn :)

The way I describe Saturn to newcomers is this: You know when you're making a track and in your head you can hear a bigger, bolder, more lifelike version of the part you're editing which you'll never be able to replicate with your plugins after any amount of nerding about with controls because it's just an ideal and we don't live in an ideal world and you'll just have to make do with what you have?

It makes those kinds of sounds.

Sometimes I use Camel Phat just for the filters. Great plug, as is Saturn; good combo.
