Is this available for Mac OS? I've been curious about those types of tests plus CPU load testing.

My GAS for VST synths is pretty much under control, but I have been on a guitar amp buying binge lately. I started with some cheap Chinese-made tube amps, but just bought a Mesa Boogie. I think I need one more Mesa and my collection will be complete (so I tell myself). Wish I had started with the Mesas, though

I got nothing on the horizon I want, minus waiting a month for what hopefully will be a nice summer bundle sale at a certain developer.
I'd love to pick up some oldies (FM8, Massive, Absynth), but im still waiting for the right price to come along.

I'm thinking about a pair of new studio monitors, unfortunately I can't be happy but with expensive models (I hear the difference quite well)...
I may have to wait after the summer if I want to have also some holidays (which I really need)... and I'll have wait for sure if I manage to get a MF-107 (which has the highest priority since it has been discontinued... while it was in my whishlist for a while, I didn't planned to buy it soon).
Any other thing is gas that I can manage quite well, because I already have lot of tools... I still lust about poly analogs and modulars and various devices, but I'm far from pulling the trigger (prices and need for room - which I don't have - help me not to buy). There may be the odd thing here and there, but not much and not expensive... I look at the newsletters of the various store and most of the time I say "mew", because I already have comparable tools (or those exact tools) or I just don't need them or way are way too much expensive for me... and that makes me happy, because it means I'm not slave of gas.
By the way I'm getting more and more into diy electronics, which is still not cheap and takes room too, but it also requires more time than buying something ready made, so spend more free time on the same thing (and I can't think to other things) and I learn something which may be useful for my future career (I work as a programmer, but the hardware world always fascinated me and I'd like to go into that field if there's an opportunity; I think I'd have better chances if I can also show some knowledge about electronics - I've a degree in IT science and I currently know next to nothing about electronics).

DIY hardware is one of the best bargains out there, at least from a hardware perspective. I'll probably trudge down that path soon as well.sin night wrote:I'm thinking about a pair of new studio monitors, unfortunately I can't be happy but with expensive models (I hear the difference quite well)...

I think I finally have my GAS under control. My last purchase was Dune 2 back in April and my next one isn't going to be until I get Spectral sometime later this year when I start my sound library for it. But no point getting it now as I have...
Blue II
Synthmaster
MUX Modular
Mpowersynth
to work on before I ever even get to Spectral. Then Harmor closes out the year.
So if all goes as planned, only one more purchase between now and December 31.

I don't have GAS for instruments except a good piano library, which I found but 1. Expensive little bit $200 2. Requires full Kontakt which I don't have.
I have GAS for DAWs though! I really want to have FL Studio, Upgrade to S1v3 and Cubase 8 pro! But I already have 5 DAWs including Reason
And anyone of them are more than enough for me. Two of them I can't sell and the other three I don't want to sell

Is thinking about purchasing a reverse flying vee.
If you want to add 'atmosphere' to your music, you need GAS
(I could use that as a signature)

You tell me! I thought I won't buy anything till Christmas time (upgrading to S1v3 from v2 only!), but I found myself out of control when I heard Codex and I bought it few minutes from demoing it!trimph1 wrote:Now I just had to go looking at more Waves goodies.....why?!?!?
