Post

Hi all. I was away for a while, but today I had some time to make minor fixes.

Here's the update:
http://www.graywolf2004.net/files/BlueARP_v1.11rc7.zip

Changes:
1. BugFix: sometimes bluearp started from last step in RestartOnKey mode (it shouldn't affect midi events generation, but I added additional check)
2. BugFix: minor issue with color schemes
3. Minor changes in manual

This time I was careful about adjusting MIDI processing engine, cause it may have unexpected consequences, like it happened before. I think this version is stable enough for release. But I'll wait for some feedback, if someone still watches this thread ;)

Excellent work partner :)
Tried it & works 100% perfectly

One extra thing if you can add, it is hard though:
Like typical arranger keyboard, I want to have inversion chords, in case of using 2 instances of BlueArp (#1 for arpeggio & #2 for bassline), I want the bassline to detect the chord I'm playing and not the notes.

For example:
Holding those notes G3, B3 & E4 should make the bassline to play the root of E min chord..

I'm sure that you have thought about it & probably you have a solution, please let me know :)
Once again thanks a lot for your excellent hard work. Your BlueArp is for me the best VST ever.

Got the update.

Will do some testing at the weekend and post feedback. :)

Hi all. No news yet.
This version seems to be stable and I'm gonna release it soon.

I have to things in mind for futrher development but not sure it will happen soon:
1. Pattern chaining
2. Chord recognition

Pattern chaining is easier to implement, but anyway I'll do it after release. The idea is to give the ability to chain programs like 1-1-1-2 to create long patterns. Furthermore, to create several chains and automate changing between them. Not sure it's really necessary though.

Someone make some presets for BlueARP!!!!!!

I'm too lazy to do it. :hihi:

I'm halfway done with the 'factory' bank.
Here's what I have at this point:

Not a lot of fancy stuff, more like a templates to start with and to demonstrate possibilities.

Hi
I think i have made a couple and shared them with GrayWolf. Nothing fancy, just "starter presets", but i can upload them if anyone want them ?

Yes, thank you. I'm just too busy to learn the complicated GUI (but plan to later) so any presets might be useful, and I can of course modify them.

Hey, this is great but it won't load in v1.11 rc7. It says it is for a newer version than that.

Hello mates,

Here's my preset pack, although I have many, but they need to be checked once again.
BTW, the format is FL Studio (.fst) later I will make it as standard (.fxp)
DOWNLOAD

Anyway, here's the .fxp format for you guys because many of you don't use FL Studio ;)

Hello Mate,
Aside from thinking to add the feature of chord detecting (which is a revolutionary effort indeed) I think about somehow having the ability to read midi tracks and then convert them into note transposition table (NTT in arranger terminology).
You know why? Because now I can't have ability to do this for example:

Pad track which playback the notes ind different ranges...
I press (C3, E3 & G3) and the output should do: (C1, G3 & E4).
Maybe it is not essential, but if you consider doing this, you will make a real big hit! A complete arranging tool that simulates a real arranger & more. (Like KARMA)
