I think an optional beat clock multiplier control is a necessity for the sequencer, arpeggiator, clock module, and the LFO. The synth that I am working on (ZASF) does not have that capability and I am in the throes of adding it - would be happy to share my code when I get it working.
I'm not investing time into presets whilst it's still in beta because I still change the internal code a lot.
Does this imply that patches I design for 0.77 are likely to be broken on future versions? :scared:
What's a manual!
The origin of the term "manual labor" :hihi:
I rite purty gud - might be persuaded to throw something together if you have some chicken-scratched design notes to work from...

ANyway, I've been having fun setting up some very straightforward 2 and 3 oscillator leads and pads. Something I haven't seen much mention of is that the sound itself is actually very nice. I must say I am very impressed.
It is a little inconvenient to have to add a knob and a mixer in front of each oscillator to force just a teeny bit of detuning for that fat analog sound that I like.
It does exhibit some "unexpected" behaviors in polyphonic mode - I am exploring those to determine if they are bugs or "features" :? . Is this the proper forum for reporting bugs?

Hi Kirsty,
Will check out the compatibility stuff, thankx very much :)

alas, no GUI with duplicated file path from the compatibility page.
Do I understand correctly that I need to have the same file path, or is it supposed to work with my default x86 VST directory?

Anyway, your synth seems very impressive, and certainly the sound is really great, so I hope to be able to get this working at some point.
Thanks for sharing your work!

No. Any file path should work. Everything is now embedded in the DLL.
The compatibility page just shows how I do it and the fact that it works with the hosts that I tried.
I'm looking at FL Studio but it's a 350MB download and I know nothing about how it works!

Oh, I tried Reaper too. Same thing. I'm thinking maybe I need to clear out my system registry or something, but I'm not feeling nerdy today :)
I'll work it out, though. Cheers

Wow... 350 megs! I never really noticed, but FL has certainly grown over the years!!

OK I downloaded FL Studio 11 demo.
Oh my god! it's nearly 1GB when installed. That's ridiculous.
Anyway, after a few alterations to my code I got it working. I added an image to my compatibility page
as proof of the pudding. :hihi:
I'll post a working update in a few days and then I'm definitely going to uninstall FL Studio.

I look forward to the update Kirsty, but would it not be wise to keep FL studio installed for any future compatability / bug problems and / or testing purposes ?
:tu: All is good

Hi Kristy,
When I open the plugin it shows the word "DEMO" in pink on the left upper corner. Probably a problem with the Synthedit version. Tried it on Reaper and on the lite version of Ableton 8.

Hi Kirsty,
Fantastic! :) I look forward to giving it a go. It'll have to wait until next week, this is the last of my day off :hihi: But I've got something to look forward to, so thanks!

Jeez, that is big... I guess it's all the demo content, etc. Kind of wish they had a bare-bones option.

OK here's V0.78

Tested for compatibility and working on my system with:-
- Synapse Audio Orion v8.504 (demo)
- Cockos Reaper v4.77 64bit (demo)
- FL Studio 11 (demo)

I've reduced the *.zip filesize to 3.7MB so you can now download directly from my website.

Thanks for trying my VSTi :)

Hello Kirsty. I can confirm that it now works in Reaper v4.7.2.1 32-bit.
It sounds fantastic and the GUI looks great. I hope that self-hosting the file will encourage more people to test it.
Thanks :D

Same for me too, now. I have it on another machine (that's not with me at the moment).

Works ok now in FL Studio, sadly it's not of use at the current size :( Not everyone has large monitors.
:tu: All is good
