If you search for audio rate modulation you will find a million examples for sure. I´m not at my machine now. Especially modular synths can go wild here.Mirko R. wrote:Okay, very interessting. Do you have a soundexample for me how that sounds like, so i can better imagine it.Cinebient wrote:Mirko R. wrote:Cinebient wrote:Might i ask how fast the modulation sources like LFO´s can go. I would want at least 250Hz, better 1Khz.
What about general audio rate modulation of every parameter?
The LFO can go up to 65 HZ. If you need faster modulations for the oscs, than you can use the Ring Mod or the Phase Mod (like FM). For what do You need exactly so fast modulations?
It can create some awesome/interesting/thick/vibrating timbres especially if you can use it for all parameters and/or using osc or samples as source. 65Hz is a bit lame.
So this synth is not for me.
I also like the other way, LFO's which are very slow and goes way under 0.01Hz.
It's an important part for me in terms of sound design.
But if you are happy with it it´s O.K. of course. But i love and want audio rate modulation everywhere

Thanks. Sounddesigners with the open version are able to create multisamples with round robin and velocity steps. For example in the full version the E Guitar Clean (ID 413) has three velocity steps:kokotte wrote:great job Parawave team, a round robin random cycle between layers could be interesting for simulate some analog voices( think oberheim 8 )
good luck with the release!
1. muted guitar
2. open guitar
3. open with a slide at the beginning
The Cembalo (ID 411) has two time round robin and the Rhodes 1 (ID 402) has two time round robin and three velocity steps. This makes the sound more organic.

Well, I can see I'm going to get lost in this thing for a very long time. Once you start diving in, there's really a lot you can do with it. I'm revising my initial evaluation as far as price to features. I can now see this going for as much as Zebra 2, or $199. The extra $35, still not so sure, but this synth does exceed my $149 to $169 synths as far as flexibility. You just have to really dive under the hood to see all its capabilities. It is not an instant gratification machine, unless of course you just want to play the factory presets, of which there are plenty. But if you want to design your own sounds and make some really complex stuff, you need to put in a great amount of work. The sequencer especially is extremely flexible. More so than many I have seen. And yeah, you can literally design a band in the box with this thing IF you want.
I'm actually impressed.

@ wagtunes and others who have already bought the synth - if it's no bother, could you give some feedback about wavetables and samples not included into the demo? Is there some interesting stuff here?

Be happy to. Let me just go through some more of this. There is a lot here to process.recursive one wrote:@ wagtunes and others who have already bought the synth - if it's no bother, could you give some feedback about wavetables and samples not included into the demo? Apparently, there is no online manual as of yet. Looks like I'll be making some videos and posting them here.
Like I needed another project. LOL.

Will be getting this in a day or two, in the meantime I'd love to start making patches with it. Can someone with the full version see if they can load this .fxp file?
It should be only the piano multi-sample in osc 1 of layer 1.

Not possible, because you can't save presets with the demo version.Touch The Universe wrote:Will be getting this in a day or two, in the meantime I'd love to start making patches with it. Can someone with the full version see if they can load this .fxp file?
