As far as I know there's no way to shift/rotate the pattern, wish there could be an option to do it, like Shift+Alt+Click drag or something.

Transpose is also available when holding shift and moving the mouse on a note in pattern view.

Btw any good distortion/scream/fuzz is great on ABL3, I don't like its own Distortion so much, it's quite old.
I'm using Fuseaudio Big Sur (free pedal), Fuseaudio Dozer-Drive, Cytomic The Scream (there's an Acid Slayer preset which is evil), bx_subsynth, with it. Also d16 Devastor2 is great on it.

The new engine in 3.3 is the best Acid engine I heard in all software products so far [excluding Roland's cloud which is not acceptable as Cloud does not work for me].
Also the pattern seq is great and quick, also can do polyrythms.

Would like to hear a comparison with that anyway.

I think ABL3 is very authentic. Would be interesting to hear how it compared to the Roland one.

None of Roland's 303 emulations (TB-3, TB-03, or TB-303 plugin) can compete with ABL3. They're all okay, but each one has various problems, and they all sound pretty bad when you crank the resonance.

I figured... Roland is pretty overrated, when it comes to software/digital hardware.

I'm sure they'd do well with emulating the JP-8000 though (at least I hope so...).

The TR8s sounds great.

They are not overrated perse , it's just that their 303 emulation , accent is not verry accurate .
The other cloud ACB offerings are top notch .
The tr8s is awesome and they have made enough digital stuff that can be classified as true classics .

OK, its hardware so it wont do as much, but you can't get more authentic, zero CPU drain and you can play it whilst sitting on the toilet

Behringer doesn't run on battery but ABL3 will on your laptop, if you are brave enough bring your laptop into the toilet

If pattern mode is selected and I accidentally press the keyboard the pattern resets, also when I try browsing the patterns with the arrows it start playing the Init patch not the next preset, is anyone else having this problem? MacOS M1, the plugin is in demo mode

Do you mean your pc keyboard ?
If so , then it automatically selects the pattern assigned to that key , if no pattern is present then it plays the default pattern .
Example , you press the letter "q "on qwerty keyboard , it selects pattern 48 (depending on the octave settings in your daw ) , letter w selects pattern 49 etc..
